Spanish fashion photographer, Eugenio Recuenco did a Fairy Tale-themed fashion shoot for Frnech Vogue in 2009. His photos are witty, dark, brooding and merge the traditional with the avant garde. He displays Fairy Tale and Disney heroines in a sophisticated new setting. I think they are incredibly beautiful.

Yes, they are very beautiful but there is something a bit scary about them too – just like a fairy tale. Loving reading up on what i have missed here!

Oh but the brothers Grimm only wrote down existing fairy tales, they did nothing to them. They only wanted to find out the soul of their germanic people, little did they know then that the stories were all alike everywhere in the world.
I love your art btw, really amazing. Also the dark twists or the modern irony. Hope you’ll post more some day?
